CHEER Tumbling
2017

Welcome Michael White as our new tumbling instructor!
Bio:  He is a full time mechanical designer at Bath Iron Works and is currently cheering for the Elite All Stars of Maine open level 6 team.  2 time member of the University of Maine Cheer Team, 2 time International open level 5 All-Star cheerleader witht Big 10 Cheer.  1 time open level 4 All-Star cheerleader with Big 10 cheer; 1 time open level 6 All-Star cheerleader with the Elite All Stars of Maine.  In addition to his years as a cheerleader, he has also gained signifigant experience as both a Coach and and a Tumbling Instructor:  Assistant Coach at Big 10 Cheer in Hermon, Maine.  (2015-2016); NCA Instructor 2015; Tumbling Instructor for Big 10 Cheer.  (February 2014-September 2016) (approximately 1000 hours. ); Head Coach of Big 10 Cheer's junior level 1 team. (2015-2016) Tumbling Instructor for multiple highschools, including: Old Town High School, Machias Memorial High School, Washington Academy and Sunmer Memorial High School.

Beginner/Intermediate I, II Tumbling @ Poland Town Hall


   
Beginner Tumbling I -No experience necessary -Children must be at least age 4 by October 15
Time: Beg. 2p-3p Class sizes: Minimum of 6, maximum of 12
DATES: Sundays 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, (no class on Memorial Weekend)6/4, 6/11 ,6/18.
Cost: Poland residents $30.00 non-residents $35.00

Intermediate I-Must be able to do a forward roll, backward roll, handstand for 3 seconds, cartwheel righ and left side.  
Intermediate II-Must be able to do a round off, one hand cart wheel both sides, front kickover and back kick over.

DATES: Tuesdays-4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13; ( 8 classes)
