Poland Fire Rescue seeks to provide the citizens and visitors of our community with outstanding service in Prevention, Education, and Professional Emergency response- “Great Service by Great People”.
24/7 Emergency Response
The Town of Poland Maine is surrounded by five lakes and has been a resort area for over 200 years. Poland is just west of Auburn and can be accessed through Maine Routes 11, 26, and 122. The Town of Poland covers an area of 49.7 sq. miles and has a population of approximately 6000 year round residents. Poland is also home to the famous Poland Spring Inn & Resort and Poland Spring Water. Protecting the Town of Poland is the Poland Fire Rescue Department. PFRD is a combination fire EMS department that averages 1,000 calls a year. We employ 1 Full Time Chief, 4 Career and 20 Call/Perdiem Fire EMS providers.
